Show Caller v1.1 — Connected

Show Caller learned to talk to the rest of the stack — ProPresenter, Planning Center, Excel — and got the silent-comms, theming, and output muscle to drive real productions end to end.

Integrations
  • ProPresenter — full bidirectional integration. Drive ProPresenter from the rundown (each cue maps to a playlist item, GO fires the slide) or follow it when the worship team is leading. Auto-reconnect, fire-and-forget triggers.
  • Import ProPresenter playlist — spin up a new show from a PP playlist. Headers become titles, items become cues, mappings pre-populate.
  • Planning Center import — bring a service plan in via the PCO Services v2 API. Per-item notes become custom columns; Key + BPM imported from arrangement data.
  • Excel (.xlsx) import wizard — pick a tab, the importer auto-detects the header row and maps columns to your rundown.
Cue Vocabulary
  • Cue Tags — visual identity per cue (chip color + label), with a reusable tag library.
  • Unified Triggers — one model for what fires each cue: manual, auto-advance, Time of Day, or ProPresenter. One icon per row tells you what fires it.
  • Per-cue Timing thresholds — override the yellow/red countdown bands on individual cues. A 10-minute song doesn't want the same warnings as a 30-second link.
  • Audio Chimes — wrap and overtime threshold crossings can fire stock or custom WAVs, on the producer laptop or server-side.
Cue Standby
  • READY button — silent "stand by" call. The producer hits READY, every operator's assigned column lights amber on the next cue.
  • Department acknowledgment — each operator taps to ack; the producer sees who's ready and who hasn't called in. No intercom chatter required.
  • Standby visible on Live View and Backstage Display — NEXT UP card grows on the green-room screen.
Outputs
  • HDMI, NDI, and Blackmagic DeckLink video outputs — up to 8 configurable outputs, monitor enumeration, identify overlay.
  • Public Display — audience-facing output surface.
  • Mobile Cue View — phone-optimized cue view for crew on the move.
  • Visual Rundown Timeline — see the whole show's shape and proportions at a glance, alongside the spreadsheet.
Brand Theming
  • Brand treatments on output displays — production company + show logos, six visual treatments.
  • URL Brand Extraction — paste a website and Show Caller pulls colors and fonts automatically.
  • Stage Scale + Text Brightness — dial output size and baseline text brightness without touching accent colors.
Cue Hierarchy
  • Sessions (preview) — group cues into named sessions for multi-act shows (Awards Show, Sunday Service, Conference). Per-session date and start labels; one show, many sessions.
Companion Surfaces
  • watchOS companion app — at-a-glance show state on the wrist.
  • StreamDeck bridge — hardware cue control surface (Rust daemon).
Stage Management & Presenter Column
  • Fourth production role — Stage Manager, PIN-gated, peer to Producer / Operator / Viewer.
  • A structural presenter column on every cue. Drop names in via inline typeahead in Plan View. Up to 8 per cue cleanly, scrollable beyond.
  • Dedicated SM panel inside Live View — upcoming cues with their presenters, tappable mic + on-deck icons per slot.
  • Two flags per slot: miced and on deck — independent, SM-exclusive write. The Producer reads them; only the SM sets them. Mirrors the operator-standby-ack pattern (the role that physically observes is the only role that records).
  • Audit log on every flag flip — who, when.
  • Multi-SM supported — assistant SMs work concurrently, server is the authority, last-write-wins.
